President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his victory plan proposed to Ukraine's allies the Tomahawk missiles with a range of up to 2500 km. This was reported by The New York Times, citing American officials.

According to these officials, in the secret part of the plan regarding the 'non-nuclear deterrence package,' Ukraine is requesting Tomahawk missiles from its allies.

However, there is a conclusion that such a request is unfeasible. This is because the range of the Tomahawk significantly exceeds the range of ATACMS missiles that the US delivered to Ukraine in 2024 (2500 km versus 300 km), as well as the limited number of delivered ATACMS missile systems.

Unnamed American officials noted that the list of targets on Russian territory 'greatly' exceeds the number of missiles that the US and its allies could provide. They claim that reliable arguments for the use of long-range weapons have not been presented in the White House.

As a result of such requests in Zelensky's victory plan, American officials express their frustration, calling it unrealistic and dependent on Western aid.
