Restrictions on payments 800+ for Ukrainians: Will there be exceptions for socially vulnerable families.
Ukrainian refugees have faced restrictions in accessing the 'Family 800+' program in Poland, as stated by Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski. This program has been providing assistance since 2016, but its conditions are constantly changing. According to the latest changes, assistance will only be provided to families where both parents work and pay taxes in Poland.
Trzaskowski emphasized that these restrictions apply only to the '800+' program, while assistance to vulnerable categories, including children with disabilities, will remain unchanged. This issue is actively being discussed in Polish society, and even Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the 'Law and Justice' party support the restrictions on payments to Ukrainian refugees.
The 'Ukrainian House' fund has urged not to use the problems of Ukrainian refugees for political purposes.
