According to UATV: On March 27, 2023, Russian occupying forces launched attacks against civilians in Ukraine's Donetsk region, resulting in the death of a 41-year-old man and injuries to six others. The assaults took place in the towns of Kostiantynivka and Oleksieievo-Druzhkivka, where the man was killed by an airstrike.

In Kostiantynivka, four civilians were wounded during the shelling, including a 55-year-old mother and her 35-year-old son.
