2026: Odessa invests hundreds of millions in road renovation – these roads are included.

Large-scale road restoration planned in Odessa for 2026

According to Novyny.live: The city of Odessa is preparing a comprehensive program for the restoration of its road network for the year 2026. Hundreds of millions of Hryvnias are to be allocated from the city budget for this purpose, which will be used both for major restorations and for ongoing repairs. Specifically, around 74.3 million Hryvnias are planned for major road restoration, while 250 million Hryvnias are allocated for ongoing repairs. A total of over 156,000 square meters of road surface is to be renewed. The main works are expected to begin in March 2026 and should be completed by July of the same year.

The most extensive measures are planned at the intersection of Inhlesi and Nebesnoji Sotni streets, where 5,000 square meters will be renovated. Also, a significant area of 4,000 square meters will be restored on Akademika Zabolotnoho street.

• Pantelejmonivska Street (3,750 m²)
• Prymorska Street (3,500 and 600 m²)
• Mala and Velyka Arnautska (3,000 m² each)
• Balkivska Street (3,000 and 1,200 m²)
• Prospekt Knyaz Volodymyra Velykoho (3,000 m²)
• Ljustdorfska Street (3,000 m²)
• Tyraspol Chaussee (3,000 m²)
• Akademika Koroleva (2,700 m²)
• Cosmonautiv Street (2,600 m²)
• Fontanska Street (2,500 m²)

Moreover, work is planned on streets with an area of 2,000 square meters each, including Dalnyzka, Krasnova, Mykoly Borowskoho, Svyatoslava Richters, Chimitschna, Prospekt Nebesnoji Sotni, and Knyaz Yaroslav Mudroho. Streets with renovation areas between 1,000 and 1,950 square meters include:

• Dowha (1,800)
• Semeny Yachnenka (1,700)
• Balkivska (1,500)
• Staroportofrankivska (1,500)
• Dmytrijivska (1,500)
• Dalnyzke Chaussee (1,500)
• Schytomyrska (1,200)

Furthermore, repairs on smaller sections (200 to 900 square meters) are planned, for example in Simji Hloda (800), Bryhadna (500), Anatolii Batsynskoho (600), and others. The renovation of sidewalks will occur, among others, on Risowska (2,630 m²), Tarasa Kusmina (2,250 m²), and Pivdenna (2,100 m²).

Multiple construction companies have been contracted for the implementation of the projects, including 'ROSTDORSTROY', 'DP LIDER', 'Yevrodor', 'DSK AWTOSchLJACH', and 'AWTOMAGISTRAL-PIWDEN'. These measures aim to improve the traffic infrastructure of Odessa and facilitate mobility for both residents and visitors to the city. The tendering to various firms is also intended to promote competition and ensure efficient execution of the works.
