Leaders in housing construction
According to inkorr.com: The Odesa and Cherkasy regions topped the ranking of regional leaders in housing construction. Odesa region impressed with its growth – 6,570 apartments were built here, which is 56% more than last year. This success is driven by high demand for seaside real estate, attracting investments in housing projects, and the return of internally displaced persons.
Cherkasy region also showed excellent results, building 1,126 new apartments and demonstrating a growth of 51.6%. Notable changes were also recorded in Mykolaiv (35.8%), Chernihiv (24.4%), and Ternopil (23.7%) regions.
Kyiv region - leader in the number of new buildings
Kyiv region remains the absolute leader in the number of new housing – 9,853 apartments were built here. The capital saw the appearance of 7,380 new apartments, while Lviv region ranks third with 5,646 apartments.
Market Trends
An analysis of the real estate market indicates relative stability, although minor fluctuations in demand continue. Offers from developers are becoming increasingly rare, and the reasons for this phenomenon remain unknown.
It is also worth noting that rental prices for housing in Ukraine are constantly rising, which affects the overall situation in the real estate market.
Thus, the growth in housing construction in Odesa and Cherkasy regions underscores activity in this area, indicating a potential recovery of the real estate market after challenging economic times. At the same time, the rising rental prices may signal further challenges for Ukrainians in securing affordable housing.
