According to inkorr.com: A real scandal occurred at the Odessa regional center - one of the officers was detained for extortion. This officer was soliciting money from soldiers, specifically $10,000, for 'services' related to the clandestine evacuation of soldiers and evasion of military duties.
"During the receipt of the bribe, law enforcement officers detained the suspect," said a police representative.
The officer has been charged under the Criminal Code of Ukraine for extortion and receiving a bribe. An investigation is currently underway to identify all involved persons and to discuss the possibility of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect.
