Russia is preparing for an offensive this fall: how combat operations at the front will change.
According to inkorr.com: Russian troops in the occupied territories of Ukraine are actively preparing for combat operations during the winter period. Spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces Vladyslav Voloshyn stated that the occupiers are regrouping their units, particularly in the Dnipro and Kherson directions. They are also conducting personnel rotations on the islands and using smoke screens to mask their maneuvers.
'Therefore, the enemy is also preparing to conduct combat operations when the weather conditions are somewhat changed. When all the leaves fall. Of course, this time at the front is to prepare for further combat operations,'Voloshyn explained.
The occupiers are already having to adjust their strategy according to the autumn-winter season, which may significantly impact the nature of future combat operations. All their actions indicate active preparation for military operations in the near future.
Given the planned changes in the strategy of Russian troops, the situation at the front could become even more tense. Preparing for the winter season, in turn, requires new decisions and adaptations from both sides, which will undoubtedly affect the tactics of conducting combat operations in the near future.
