Occupiers to seize land plots from Ukrainians in occupied territories.

Starting from March 1, 2025, plots for individual housing construction and personal subsidiary farming may be seized if no construction has been carried out on them for two years.

«Plots for individual housing construction, for personal subsidiary farming starting from March 1, 2025, will begin to be seized from owners if no construction has been carried out on them over the past two years», – writes CNS.

The criteria for determining «use» of the land are still unknown. In addition, the occupiers continue to conduct raids to identify «abandoned» homes for their subsequent appropriation.

The process will occur as follows - if oversight boards determine that the land has remained unused for two years, then the owner will automatically be deprived of ownership of the land.
