According to The Sun: OLEKSANDR USYK reached out to Deontay Wilder with an offer to hold their next fight. The Ukrainian secured a knockout victory over Daniel Dubois in the July rematch, regaining the title of undisputed heavyweight champion.
However, in November, Usyk relinquished his WBO belt, and British fighter Fabio Wardley was elevated to the status of world champion. Usyk noted that he has only had two fights in two years:
“I have two fights in two years, I want to add new achievements to my career”
This challenge from Usyk opens up new opportunities in the boxing world.
