Olympic champion explained why she cannot attend her father's funeral.
Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Kateryna Serebryanska reported the death of her father Oleg Serebryansky, which occurred in occupied Crimea. However, due to the ban on entering Russia, she cannot attend the farewell ceremony.
It is very painful due to the loss. But even more painful that I cannot say goodbye to my father in person because I cannot come due to the entry ban to the Russian Federation.
The farewell for Oleg Serebryansky will be held on January 6 at 10:00 AM in the church of Dmitry of Thessalonica.
Kateryna Serebryanska has not published any posts about the war in Ukraine on her page since 2022. In 2014, she did not condemn Russia's actions during the Revolution of Dignity and the occupation of Crimea, but she published an astrological forecast for Ukraine.
