One Direction stars reunite for a Netflix show

According to The Sun: Former One Direction members, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, have struck a lucrative deal with Netflix to create a travel show worth several million pounds.

Filming has already begun, and in the documentary, the two artists will travel across the USA.

During the journey, they plan to discuss their lives, memories of their time in the band, and also remember the tragically deceased member Liam Payne.

The show is likely to be released on the platform next year, marking exactly ten years since the band's breakup when Louis and Zayn began their solo careers.

This news comes a year after the tragic death of Liam, who died at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina.

The members of One Direction, remaining Louis, Zayn, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles, first met since 2016 at Liam's funeral in November.

Insiders note that Liam's death brought them closer together.

“This will be a massive event for Netflix and is guaranteed to generate huge interest from the global 1D fan army.”

“While the idea of British boys traveling across America sounds strange, most of them now have close ties to the United States.”

Their first trip to the USA took place in 2011 when they came to Malibu, California, to shoot a video for their debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful'.

This was the starting point of their rise to fame in the UK, America, and around the world.

They have received seven Brit Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, and seven American Music Awards.

In 2013, the band became the best-selling artist in the world.

Louis, 33, spends much of his time in America, where he is raising a nine-year-old son with American stylist Briana Jungwirth.

Zayn, 32, has lived in the United States since 2018 when he moved from the UK to be with his then-girlfriend, model Gigi Hadid, in New York.

He is currently residing in Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, Niall, also 32, has owned a five-bedroom mansion in the Hollywood Hills for the last decade, which he purchased for £3 million.

Harry, 31, is actively pursuing his career in the USA, having purchased several properties in Los Angeles and New York, but has recently been focusing more on buying property in London.

The new show will aim to focus on Louis and Zayn's experiences rather than the places they visit during their travels.

Recent footage from New York showed the two artists in a bar, but witnesses did not know that they were working on a show for Netflix.
