The UN will hold a special meeting on the 1000th day of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine will visit New York
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, will visit New York on November 18, 2024. The main purpose of the visit will be to participate in events dedicated to the 1000 days of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which will take place at the UN headquarters.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
At the initiative of Ukraine and under the chairmanship of the United Kingdom, a special high-level meeting will be held in the UN Security Council.
During the meeting, issues of increasing Russian aggression and terror against Ukraine will be discussed.
As part of the visit, several bilateral meetings of the minister are also planned in order to strengthen international support for Ukraine. This event is expected to draw greater attention from the international community to the ongoing aggression from Russia.
