Heat supply in Ukraine to be restored in 10 days: what it will change for the energy system.

According to inkorr.com: The restoration of centralized heating supply across Ukraine is scheduled for the next 10 days. This is expected to help reduce the load on the energy system. This was reported by the head of the board of NEC 'Ukrenergo', Vitaliy Zaychenko, during a telethon 'United News'.

'We hope that in the near future, within 10 days, heating supply will be ensured throughout Ukraine, and this will lead to a reduction in electricity consumption:', - noted Zaychenko.

According to him, the restoration of heating supply is important for stabilizing the situation. Currently, there are two main factors influencing the energy system. The first is the weather: due to the cold snap, electricity consumption has increased by 20% compared to the beginning of the month. The second is the lack of centralized heating, which forces people to use electric devices for heating.

'Now many consumers are heating themselves using electricity - these are air conditioners and heaters:', - explained the head of 'Ukrenergo'.

Additionally, there is information about a blackout in Chernihiv, where Russian drones complicate the repair work at energy facilities.

The National Energy Company 'Ukrenergo' continues to work on restoring centralized heating supply, hoping to ease conditions for citizens during the cold season and reduce the load on the energy system.
