Defense Minister Rustem Umerov declared an income of more than 4.5 million UAH

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov published his income and asset declaration for 2021 and 2022. According to these data, his income in 2022 amounted to 4,560,529 UAH.

The declaration stated that the wife of Minister Rustem Umerov has been living in the USA with their children since 2019. They obtained documents confirming their identities with citizenship.

It also became known that the wife of the defense minister, Leila Umerova, has a business in the United States. According to the declaration, she earned 1,704,568 UAH from Astem Ventures Inc.

According to the declaration, Umerov's salary in 2022 amounted to 433,453 UAH, income from the sale of securities and corporate rights - 4,125,800 UAH, and bank payments amounted to 1,276 UAH. The minister's wife declared an income of 1,704,568 UAH.

Umerov also stated that he has $18.2 thousand in creditor's unaccented claims, 218.6 thousand UAH and $5.8 thousand in cash, 1.2 million UAH and $1.8 thousand in bank accounts. The minister's wife reported having $3.9 thousand in cash and $5.4 thousand in bank accounts.

The declaration also stated that the minister rents an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 80.6 sq. m and is registered in another apartment with an area of 95 sq. m in Kyiv. The minister's mother owns a house in Bakhchisaray, AR Crimea, with an area of 196.7 sq. m, and his wife rents an apartment in the USA with an area of 137.4 sq. m. He is a 100% owner of LLC "Black Sea Company" (corporate rights transferred to management).

The minister also uses Hyundai Elantra 2014 and Ford Explorer 2016 cars.
