Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban commented on Donald Trump's plans regarding NATO.
During a press conference, he stated that the government's idea of increasing defense spending to 2% of GDP is unsatisfactory. He believes that such a decision would negatively impact the economy.
Instead, Orban expressed a desire to see 'international conditions that would allow for a reduction in defense spending.'
It is important to note that Orban and Trump share similar views on many key issues. Both support the idea of Russia's war against Ukraine and recently met at Mar-a-Lago. Orban spoke about this meeting, while Trump did not comment.
It is worth mentioning that Zelensky also commented on the talks with Trump and Orban.
