Oschadbank freezes accounts: who needs to withdraw money by September 30.
According to inkorr.com: Oschadbank warns its clients about the necessity of urgent cash withdrawals from accounts by September 30 this year. This concerns depositors whose cards have not been used for the last three years. They must visit a bank branch to receive their money, update their data, and undergo identification.
'By September 30, 2025, you need to visit JSC 'Oschadbank' to receive funds from current and deposit accounts that have not had transactions for three years or more, as well as to update identification data and undergo verification.'
Depositors must have their passport and taxpayer code with them. If this requirement is ignored, the accounts may be 'frozen', and the bank will charge commission fees. Oschadbank noted that this applies to deposits in hryvnias that have not been active for a long time.
Thus, Oschadbank clients must withdraw their funds by September 30; otherwise, their accounts may receive the status of 'frozen deposits', and the bank will charge the relevant fees.
This initiative aims to update client data and activate accounts that may remain inactive for a long time. It is important for depositors not to lose access to their funds, so active participation in this process is extremely necessary.
