Kyiv schoolchildren on vacation from October 27: how rest will help children during the war.
Autumn holidays for capital schoolchildren
According to inkorr.com: Autumn holidays will soon begin in Kyiv schools, which this year will last for a week - from October 27 to November 2. The capital's authorities emphasize that this period of rest is especially important for children studying in a state of war.
The educational process in Kyiv has been taking place for four years with consideration of the security situation. Constant air alarms, changes in learning formats, and psychological burdens affect students and teachers.
'Kyiv schoolchildren have been studying in conditions of war for the fourth year in a row. Constant tension, air alarms, changes in learning formats require great efforts from children and educators. Therefore, this week of rest is very important to restore strength, spend time with family, and return to studies with new energy,' noted Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentina Mondriivskyi.
During the holidays, various thematic events and activities in clubs and creative studios are planned in schools and extracurricular institutions in the capital. The administration recommends parents to involve children in safe activities that will help them distract from tense daily life.
In addition, a new law on school safety has come into effect, which makes changes for students and parents.
This autumn holiday will be a time of recovery for Kyiv schoolchildren who continue to study in conditions of military conflict. It is important that children will have the opportunity to spend time with family and rest from daily stresses and worries due to studying in difficult circumstances.
The week of autumn holidays can be a real opportunity for children to relax after a long educational period and find strength for new challenges. The authorities urge parents to support children during this important rest so they can successfully return to studies after the holidays.
