Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain left unemployed
According to The Sun: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain woke up unemployed after the termination of his contract with Besiktas.
The midfielder, who played 35 matches for the England national team, had another year left on his contract in Turkey but agreed to a compensation payment of £1.5 million as part of a mutual termination of the agreement.

According to reports, Besiktas offered compensation payments in installments, but Oxlade-Chamberlain preferred a lump sum after meeting with the club's management.
The former Liverpool and Arsenal player won the Turkish Cup with Besiktas in the 2023-24 season but still suffered from injuries and often stayed out of the lineup.
Former Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who now manages Besiktas, preferred other options in midfield last year, causing Oxlade-Chamberlain to drop down the hierarchy.
Rumors of a new team
Oxlade-Chamberlain received offers to return to England, including from Leeds United and Championship clubs such as Leicester City and Birmingham City.
Leeds United is actively working this transfer window, having already signed 10 new players to strengthen Daniel Farke's side in their efforts to stay in the top flight.
At the same time, the club has suffered losses due to injuries to Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu in midfield and is actively searching for reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
Returning to England would allow Perrie Edwards, Oxlade's partner, to move with him after nine years during which they never lived together.
