School Package: 5 thousand hryvnias for first-graders and important details for obtaining.
News about the 'School Package' program
According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian Ministry of Education explains the procedure for obtaining assistance under the 'School Package' program. This initiative is aimed at supporting families with first-graders. Each of these families can receive 5 thousand hryvnias for a child starting first grade.
As of today, about 98 thousand Ukrainian families have already applied for this support, with most of them submitting documents through the 'Diia' mobile application. Applications for review have been submitted for over 92 thousand families, however, about 1.7 thousand of them were rejected for various reasons — for example, due to being outside the country, problems with documents, or transferring the child to another school.
To successfully obtain assistance, it is important that the information about the child is accurately entered into the AIKOM system of the educational institution. Parents can track the status of their applications through the 'Diia' mobile application or contact the service center of the Fund directly. The submission of applications will last until November 15, 2025, and the funds will be credited to the 'Diia' card within two weeks after the application submission.
The 'School Package' program is an important initiative aimed at easing the start of the school year for families with first-graders. The convenience of applying through the 'Diia' mobile application and the extended submission period allow many Ukrainian families to take advantage of this assistance, which is an important step in supporting new generations of students.
