According to the partisan movement "ATESH", the Russian Marine Corps brigade is suffering serious losses during the Ukrainian Defense Forces' operation in the Kursk region.

According to information from an agent of the movement who serves in the Armed Forces of Russia, only 30% of the combat-ready personnel remain in the first motorized rifle battalion of the brigade. The third company of this battalion suffered particularly heavy losses, with its commander taken prisoner by Ukrainian soldiers.

"Analyzing the intelligence information, it can be concluded that only 30% of the battalion's combat-ready personnel remain. The rest are captured, wounded, or killed," noted "ATESH".

The partisans note that the remaining servicemen of the battalion are either killed, wounded, or taken captive. This information confirms the effectiveness of the Ukrainian Defense Forces' actions and indicates serious problems with the morale and combat capability of Russian troops.

Recall that on August 12, Alexander Syrsky first confirmed the Ukrainian Armed Forces' operation in the Kursk region and stated that Ukraine controls territory in Russia covering an area of 1000 sq. km. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the SBU, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other officials to prepare a humanitarian plan for the operation in the Kursk region.

Meanwhile, during a meeting on the situation in the Kursk region, Russian President Vladimir Putin, visibly nervous, stated that everything is now clear to him: Ukraine allegedly invaded the Kursk region of Russia to improve its negotiating positions, but Moscow will not negotiate with Kyiv.

Losses of the Russian Federation in the Kursk region

Since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk region, the Russian Federation has lost control over 28 settlements. This was stated by the acting governor of the Kursk region Alexei Smirnov during a conversation with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. At the same Time, according to analysts from DeepState, approximately 44 settlements have been liberated. They also clarified that the status of another ten settlements is unknown.

By the way, the member of the defense committee of the aggressor country, Lieutenant General Andrei Gurulev, accused the Russian military of failing to defend the Kursk region. He indicated that the Russian military did not prepare in advance and did not build the defense properly.
