According to inkorr.com: Five categories of pensioners may be deprived of their pensions as early as September, reports 'Khvylya' referring to Ukraine's Law No. 1058. Many Ukrainian pensioners are unaware that, in case of violations, pension payments can be temporarily suspended by the state until the problems are resolved. To avoid such unpleasant situations, it is necessary to know the main reasons for the termination of pension payments. There are five main situations in which this can happen.
Reasons for the termination of pension payments
- The presence of inaccuracies or false information in the pension recipient's documents;
- Change of residence to a foreign country, except for elderly citizens or refugees;
- Evading the identification procedure;
- Recognition of the citizen as missing;
- No withdrawals from the pension card for six months.
Restoration of payments
If there is a need to restore payments, one should contact the local division of the Pension Fund to resolve issues. It is also important to remember that working pensioners should not return to their previous position after retiring due to age, as this may lead to the termination of pension payments, except for other cases of employment. Recently, Ukrainians were reminded how to avoid losing their pension.
This news emphasizes the importance of pensioners understanding the conditions that may lead to the temporary suspension of their payments. Adhering to the pension recalculation rules and active communication with the Pension Fund can significantly simplify the process of receiving payments. Knowledge of potential problems will help Ukrainians avoid unpleasant situations and maintain vital financial support in difficult times.
