Pension without experience: who has the right to social assistance from the state.
A Ukrainian citizen was explained what to do if they do not have a work experience. According to the government portal, the pension payment system in Ukraine remains active, but the requirements for the duration of employment are constantly increasing.
Requirements for work experience
According to inkorr.com: If a person has no formal work experience or does not meet the necessary minimum, they cannot count on the standard old-age pension. However, even in the case when there is no experience at all, Ukrainians can apply for state social assistance.
Minimum experience for retirement
- 60 years - at least 32 years of experience;
- 63 years - at least 22 years of experience;
- 65 years - at least 15 years of experience.
State social assistance
The state assistance amounts to 30% of the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their ability to work, but it cannot be less than 2361 hryvnias per month. To receive this assistance, one must contact the appropriate institutions and provide the necessary package of documents.
Thus, even Ukrainians who do not have enough experience to receive a standard pension have the opportunity to receive social support. They just need to contact the relevant authorities and submit the necessary documents in order to receive help in difficult times.
