Pensioners will receive new allowances: who is entitled to additional payments.
As reported by 'Hvylya', this was announced by the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
According to inkorr.com: This spring, Ukrainian pensioners received a significant increase in pensions due to a large-scale recalculation. Many people viewed this as important support amidst rising prices for goods and services.
Age Supplement
This supplement is provided automatically, without the need to submit additional applications, and applies to a certain category of citizens: those who have reached the age of 70 and receive an old-age pension. At the same time, the total pension amount should not exceed 10,340.35 UAH per month.
The size of the supplement depends on age:
- Age 70-74 years: 300 UAH per month
- Age 75-79 years: 456 UAH per month
- Age 80 years and older: 570 UAH per month
Additional Support for Lonely Seniors
For pensioners who live alone and need external assistance due to health conditions, there is a special type of aid. The rules for providing this support are regulated by legislation on social assistance.
Criteria for receiving the supplement include:
- Age over 80;
- Absence of cohabitants;
- Confirmed need for care.
The amount of the supplement is 40% of the minimum subsistence level, which currently stands at 944.40 UAH.
To receive this assistance, one must personally contact the local branch of the Pension Fund with the necessary documents: an application, passport, a certificate confirming that other similar payments are not appointed, as well as medical conclusions about the health condition.
Ukrainian pensioners received important information about the possibility of pension indexation in the fall. It should be noted that in the spring, there was already an announcement about a significant increase in payments and the introduction of additional forms of support for elderly people who need attention and help from the state in difficult economic times.
