The Pension Fund has transferred 65 billion: who received payments in August.
According to inkorr.com: As of August 24, the Pension Fund of Ukraine released data on the financing of social payments. According to the PFU press service, Ukrainians are receiving their payments for August, which have already begun to arrive.
- As of August 24, the largest share of financing, namely 65.5 billion UAH, consists of pension payments. Of this amount, over 56 billion UAH was transferred through banks, and about 9 billion UAH through 'Ukrposhta'.
Additionally, 2.5 billion UAH has been allocated for insurance payments, of which over 1.27 billion UAH is for sick leave. State assistance for various categories was received in the amount of 7.18 billion UAH, while housing subsidies and benefits for citizens amounted to more than 1.19 billion UAH.
Providing services to citizens and changes in obtaining social assistance
In August, the authorities of the Pension Fund of Ukraine received nearly 858 thousand individuals who applied for assistance. Earlier, there were announced changes in the principles of obtaining social assistance in Ukraine.
The disclosed data shows that pension and other social payments in Ukraine are actively being received by citizens, confirming the stability of this system in the country. Moreover, the changes in the operations of the Pension Fund indicate a constant improvement in the process of providing social services to citizens.
