Pension Fund of Ukraine Obligates Employers: New Rules for Reporting Accidents.
According to inkorr.com: In the context of the tense situation in eastern Ukraine, it is extremely important to adhere to clear instructions on reporting workplace accidents. This is becoming even more relevant due to the increase in injuries among workers that have occurred both during professional activities and as a result of military events.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine emphasizes that employers must urgently report accidents related to military actions to ensure social protection for the affected. According to the legislation, the employer is obliged to submit a report about the incident within 24 hours.
'The employer is required to submit a written or electronic report about the accident within one day,' representatives of the Pension Fund underline.
It is also important to remember that all cases of injuries or illnesses, especially those related to military events, must be recorded according to established procedures. If the accident occurred due to shelling or other aggressive actions, the employer is obliged to promptly notify the authorized bodies.
Thus, adherence to the rules of recording and reporting workplace accidents is key to ensuring effective social protection for workers in case of need.
Given the difficult situation, it is important for employers to be attentive to such incidents, as proper response and timely reporting can play a crucial role in supporting the affected. This is not only a legal obligation but also a moral responsibility for the safety of workers during challenging times.
