The Pension Fund launched video identification: how to pass it for payments.
According to inkorr.com: The Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) has launched a new service that allows retirees and those receiving insurance payments to undergo physical identification via video conferencing. This innovation will simplify the process for people who are abroad or in temporarily occupied territories.
This is stated in the official video instruction published on the Pension Fund's YouTube channel.
According to current requirements, some categories of citizens must confirm their identity annually to receive pensions or insurance payments, which is a mandatory condition, as noted by the PFU.
Retirees and recipients of insurance payments who are outside of Ukraine or in temporarily occupied territories must undergo physical identification by December 31 of each year. Previously, this required a personal visit to the institution, but now this procedure can be done remotely.
Step-by-step instructions for signing up for video identification

What happens after submitting the application

This online service is an important step towards the digitalization of public services and support for Ukrainians who find themselves in difficult life situations due to the war. We hope that such innovations will significantly ease the lives of our citizens and help maintain a connection with their country even far from its borders.
