Over 10 million pensioners will receive an additional payment: who will receive 570 hryvnias.
According to inkorr.com: The Pension Fund of Ukraine has reported that over 10 million Ukrainian pensioners may receive additional payments to their pensions, which will reach up to 570 hryvnias. The average pension in Ukraine is 6,430 hryvnias, however, one third of pensioners receive less than 4 thousand hryvnias.
Payments for elderly people
The state supports elderly citizens through monthly age supplements. The largest payment of 570 hryvnias is designated for individuals aged 80 and older, and the amounts gradually decrease: 456 UAH for individuals aged 75 to 79 and 300 UAH for those aged 70 to 74. When moving to the next age category, the pensioner receives only the difference.
- From June to October 2025, the average pension increased by 26.6 UAH, reaching 6,430 UAH.
- The highest pensions are paid in Kyiv (8,840 UAH), and the lowest in Ternopil region (4,990 UAH).
- The minimum pension is 2,360 UAH for individuals without the necessary insurance experience.
- Retired judges receive over 109 thousand UAH monthly.
Plans for indexation
Pension indexation is planned to be conducted in March 2026, after the announcement of the inflation rate in February. This is an important issue for millions of pensioners, as it can significantly affect their incomes.
Thus, the support of pensioners remains a priority for the state, and the planned payments and pension indexation may help improve the financial situation of many elderly people. This is especially relevant in the context of rising prices and inflation, which threaten the well-being of many families in Ukraine.
