Pensioners will receive additional payments: who will automatically be granted allowances.
Ukrainians have been informed about who will automatically receive additional pension payments.
According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, there is a system of state pensions in Ukraine that provides financial support to people after they finish their working activities. After reaching retirement age, the state provides pensioners with 40% of the minimum wage, provided they have the required work experience.
The pension system specifically emphasizes pensioners older than 65 years. Currently, the minimum wage in Ukraine is 8000 hryvnias, while the basic pension amounts to 3370 hryvnias. However, if the calculated pension is lower than the minimum level, the state automatically compensates the difference without the need to submit an application.
Moreover, the state provides additional money to pensions for elderly people. The older the person, the greater the allowance. For example, pensioners aged 70 to 74 receive an additional 300 hryvnias, while those over 80 receive 570 hryvnias. A significant feature is that receiving this additional money does not require an application, it is automatically granted by the state.
We remind you that Ukrainians were promised a radical reform of the pension payment system.
