Due to changes in legislation regarding benefits for housing and communal services, the Pension Fund of Ukraine clarified that veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs now have the opportunity to use these benefits. However, in order to be eligible for benefits, the family's income per person for the previous six months must not exceed 4,240.00 UAH.
Benefits payments are made for the previous month, so if a veteran did not receive the benefit in June, it may mean that the income of their family exceeded the specified limit. The changes in the system of providing benefits for veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are aimed at more rational use of state budget funds and ensuring social security for veterans.
