Pensioners from occupied territories: PFC explained who does not need identification.
According to inkorr.com: Pensioners living in the occupied territories of Ukraine do not need to undergo re-identification if they have already completed this procedure in January 2025. This was reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated February 11, 2025 No. 299, persons temporarily residing outside Ukraine or in temporarily occupied territories must undergo physical identification by December 31 of each calendar year to continue receiving their pension. If identification through videoconferencing has already been conducted in 2025 and the identity of the recipient has been established, the re-procedure is not required.
Recalculation of subsidies and digitization of workbooks
Starting October 1, the Pension Fund of Ukraine will begin recalculating subsidies for the new heating season. Most recipients of this assistance will receive it automatically, but some individuals will have to submit a new application. Ukrainians are also advised to digitize their workbooks by June 10, 2026, to avoid the risk of losing their pension payments. This can be done through the Pension Fund's electronic services portal or through employers.
Simplification of labor experience confirmation
The government has simplified the procedure for confirming labor experience accumulated during the Soviet Union period. This will help pensioners receive their deserved pension payments without unnecessary difficulties.
These innovations are aimed at supporting Ukrainians who find themselves in difficult conditions due to the war. The simplification of procedures and automatic recalculation of subsidies aim to reduce administrative barriers for citizens, especially those living in temporarily occupied territories. This will allow more people to receive their due payments on time and without extra hassle.
