Pensioners Abroad Deadline Until the End of the Year: What Will Happen to Payments.
Identification of Pensioners Abroad
According to inkorr.com: Pensioners who are outside Ukraine must undergo physical identification by the end of the year in accordance with the requirements of the Law 'On Mandatory State Pension Insurance'. This information was provided by the Press Service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
According to the legislation, pensioners living abroad have their pensions paid into accounts in Ukrainian banks, but only if they complete physical identification by December 31 of the current year.
For other categories of beneficiaries receiving state payments, except pensions, the deadline for identification is set until November 1, 2025.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine noted that pensioners temporarily staying abroad must complete physical identification by the end of the year. Failure to comply with this requirement may complicate the receipt of pension payments.
This requirement has become important for ensuring the continuity of pension payments to Ukrainians' accounts in foreign banks. It is emphasized that timely compliance with identification requirements will help avoid problems with receiving pension payments in the future.
