Pensioners Abroad: How to Avoid Payment Suspension.
According to inkorr.com: The Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region explained the terms of physical identification for pensioners who temporarily live abroad. According to these rules, elderly people must confirm their identity by December 31 of each calendar year.
If this requirement is not met, pension payments may be interrupted. According to the Pension Fund, identity confirmation is mandatory within the specified time to avoid being on the territory of Ukraine. This norm is enshrined in Article 47-1 of the Law 'On Mandatory State Pension Insurance'.
Pensioners who are temporarily residing abroad should pay attention to the fact that they need to undergo physical identification by December 31 of each year; otherwise, their pension may be suspended. This requirement is mandatory in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.
Compliance with this norm is important to ensure the stability of pension payments. Those who are currently abroad are advised to take care of confirming their identity in advance to avoid possible financial difficulties in the future.
