Ukrainians may face tax increases: who will be affected.
People love visiting horse racing tracks
According to The Sun: Races always attract people. Despite all the challenges, it remains a favorite way to spend leisure time.
People love the racesIn the current situation, as the issue of raising taxes on horse racing tracks becomes increasingly relevant, it is important to communicate this information to officials - after all, racegoers are also voters.
Despite issues with accessibility, overcrowded event schedules, and high maintenance costs for racing tracks, we must not forget how many people enjoy spending time at the races.
This is evidenced by the large number of participants in the recent British classic races, Betfred St Leger, in Doncaster.
Arena Racing operates Doncaster. ARC's CEO, Martin Cruddas, noted:
“Two years ago, we were lucky to host the King and Queen, last year - the Prime Minister, and this year - 26,000-27,000 people. They are incredible individuals, many of whom are local residents. The atmosphere, energy, and excitement at this event were at an all-time high for all ten of my St Leger meetings. What the racing track does for the city is simply incredible, and I believe this racing track is the heart of Doncaster.”
Do you hear this, Sir Keir? Over 26,000 locals love horse racing.
Questions for the government
Why does the government have no objections to lotteries? Why doesn't this seem to be a problem for people in the UK?
This form of gambling can become addictive for some.
It's simple: people see that part of the money earned goes to good causes, projects, and initiatives that transform communities, preserve our heritage, and enrich lives through art, sports, and culture.
Horse racing also has a positive impact. It is a sport to be proud of as it is loved.
We have about six weeks to find out if the 'Tax Act' campaign will be successful or at least useful. During this time, I urge everyone to tell the government that people love horse racing.
It's a great way to spend a day, as well as an opportunity to enjoy music after the races or meet friends, or even have a beer outdoors. People love spending time at the races.
This should be the new trend in the world of horse racing: people genuinely enjoy it, and the data confirms that.
