Pepsi launches Christmas drink with ginger flavor: details of the novelty.
According to The Sun: PEPSI is preparing to release a new Christmas flavor, but fans are divided in their opinion: is it a festive surprise or just a bubbly flop.
This novelty aims to give customers a taste of Christmas in a bottle.
Some are eagerly waiting for the festive flavorThe new Gingerbread Pepsi Max will hit Tesco stores from October 3.
This drink promises to be a spicy and warming version of the original. Its taste will be similar to Pepsi Max Ginger, which has already gained a large army of supporters.
However, not everyone is excited.
One user wrote: “Oh, I loved Pepsi ginger. I hope this is the same!”
Another commented: “I want them to release vanilla. I don’t understand why they don’t. They are releasing all these random flavors, so why not vanilla? Lol”
Some are eagerly waiting for the novelty, while others prefer the return of classic flavors.
Coca-Cola is coming back
In response to this news, the popular Coca-Cola flavor will reappear on British shelves just a few months after generating excitement in the USA.
From October 8, Tesco nationwide will again sell Diet Cherry Coke, which first appeared in the 1980s but was discontinued in 2018.
Fans can expect retro packaging that matches the nostalgic taste.
This fruity version of Diet Coke will be available in 24 can packs, as well as in 500 ml and 2 l bottles, allowing customers to enjoy the drink on the go and at home.
But there’s one catch — it’s back for a limited time only.
Tara Byrnes, senior brand manager of Diet Coke in the UK, said: “We have listened to our fans and are very excited to announce the return of Diet Cherry Coke.”
“The return of this retro icon is a delicious nostalgia that fans have been hoping for.”
“Some love the classics, while others enjoy experimenting; for some, this little cherry-flavored ritual will make breaks with Diet Coke even more personal.”
“The return is exclusively for a limited time. Your favorite cherry flavor is back — but make use of the chance while you can!”
Items that have disappeared
The news about favorite drinks comes against the backdrop of other popular products disappearing from supermarket shelves.
Shoppers were disappointed when Halo Top discontinued its Häagen-Dazs Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream equivalent.
Meanwhile, Alpen bars have now vanished for good, leaving fans of this low-calorie snack in shock — especially those following Slimming World or Weight Watchers diets.
And chocolate lovers have also suffered, as Mondelez discontinued the dark chocolate variant of Toblerone.
GettyThus, while PEPSI and Coca-Cola are trying to regain consumer attention with new flavors, other popular products are disappearing from the shelves. Fans of both brands can only hope that the new products will be successful and meet their taste preferences. The market situation is undoubtedly interesting, as consumers are always looking for new experiences in the world of beverages.
