Military personnel in SGC are prohibited from transferring to other units: what needs to be done

A serviceman who has committed cannot transfer to another unit. This can only be done after returning to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and using one important document.

This was written on the portal 'Lawyers.UA' by lawyer Yuriy Aivazyan.

Transfer during SGC

A serviceman who has committed unauthorized absence from the military unit consulted with lawyers.

The man inquired whether he could transfer to another unit while being in SGC.

Lawyer Yuriy Aivazyan explained that such a step would be illegal.

'As for transferring to another brigade, as long as you are in SGC, this is not possible,'

What document is needed for the transfer

Aivazyan explained what needs to be done before starting the transfer process.

'So first you must return to service (by appealing to the VSP), and only then decide on the transfer issue,'

He added that in the case of a serious illness of a pensioner father, one can try to transfer closer to the relative's place of residence, but it is important to meet a crucial condition.

'You have a basis for the transfer — the serious illness of your father. However, to transfer, you also need to have a connection with the unit you are planning to move to,'

Recall, we previously wrote about a connection.

Additionally, we reported about consent.

According to information provided by lawyer Yuriy Aivazyan, a serviceman who has committed unauthorized absence from the military unit cannot transfer to another unit until he returns to service and resolves the transfer issue. This process requires a special document and adherence to certain conditions, such as having grounds for the transfer and connections with the unit he plans to move to.
