The first IDP family bought housing under the 'eOselya' program: how to receive compensation.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine has reported that the first family of internally displaced persons has purchased housing under the state support program 'eOselya', which is implemented as part of the assistance for frontline areas.
According to the new decree, state compensation is provided to internally displaced persons and residents of frontline regions for the purchase of housing under the 'eOselya' program.
'The support program for frontline areas is specific assistance for residents of these regions and internally displaced persons. Today, thanks to this support, the first family that left their home due to the war has purchased a new residence. We are working to provide real tools for people and ensure a decent future for them despite all challenges,'said Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for the Reintegration of Ukraine and Minister for Community and Territorial Development.
Program Details
The government covers 70% of the down payment for the purchase of housing, but no more than 30% of its value. Also, for the first 12 months, the state compensates 70% of the monthly payment, totaling up to 150,000 hryvnias, as well as up to 40,000 hryvnias for fees, taxes, and insurance. For these purposes, 4.4 billion hryvnias are planned in the budget for 2025.
To receive compensation, a person must be internally displaced or a resident of frontline areas who does not own housing elsewhere, except for active combat zones or temporarily occupied territories. Official employment of the person is also important.
This step marks an improvement in living conditions: the first family of internally displaced persons has received new housing thanks to the 'eOselya' program, which supports residents of frontline areas. The program provides important assistance to those who have lost their homes due to the war, helping to create new conditions for life and work.
The 'eOselya' program aims not only to ease housing conditions for those affected by the war but also to stimulate the recovery of regions affected by the conflict. Participation in the program will be an important step towards restoring normal life and creating stability in the country.
