Glavkomreferring to the FBU.
The club 'Old Lutsk-University' announced the termination of cooperation with coach Anton Musienko. In turn, the team expressed sincere gratitude to the coach for his contribution to the development of the team and his work with players and the coaching staff.
Anton Musienko took charge of the team in February, but under his leadership, 'Old Lutsk' failed to achieve a single victory in five regular championship matches and suffered a 0:2 defeat to 'Kyiv-Basket' in the playoff quarterfinals. Despite this, before the start of the championship, Musienko was appointed head coach but did not achieve his debut success.
This week, 'Old Lutsk' will meet with 'Zaporizhzhia' and 'Dnipro'. It is also worth noting that the national men's basketball team of Ukraine secured its second victory in the pre-qualification for the World Championship 2027, defeating Switzerland with a score of 73:64.
Summary: In the first coaching departure of the season, the club 'Old Lutsk-University' thanked Anton Musienko for his cooperation, as the team failed to secure a single victory in five matches.
This departure underscores the unpredictability of the sports world and demonstrates how quickly circumstances in teams can change. The upcoming matches for 'Old Lutsk' may become a crucial stage for defining a new strategy and finding ways to improve results in the season.Read also
