First Snow in November 2025: When to Expect It and Will the Cover Last.
According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, preparations are underway for the first snows at the end of November. Meteorologists forecast a significant snowfall, but the cover is likely to last only a short time due to rising positive temperatures.
According to meteorologist Vazira Martazinova, the beginning of winter will be accompanied by snow, but significant snowdrifts are not expected in December.
Also, after November 5, rainy weather is expected. At the beginning of the month, warm and dry conditions are forecast, but fog may occur at night and in the morning.
Temperature Indicators and Precipitation
According to the Ukrhydrometcenter, the average temperature in November 2025 will fluctuate between +1...+8 °C, which is 1-2 degrees above the average norm. In the eastern regions, the temperature will correspond to average values. It is expected that over the month, 34 to 77 mm of precipitation will fall, and in the Carpathians, it may reach up to 100 mm, which will constitute 80-100% of the average norm.
Therefore, in the last days of November, it is possible to see the first snow in Ukraine, but warm weather may not allow the snow cover to stay long. It is also worth noting that after November 5, the weather will become rainy, but at the beginning of the month, we will be pleased with warmth and clarity.
