Pension Fund of Ukraine simplifies the procedure for obtaining benefits when changing residence.
Internally displaced persons who previously received benefits for housing and communal services can continue to receive them after moving to another region, but they need to contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine at their new place of residence. There, they must submit an application for benefits at the new address and update their data in the Register of Persons Entitled to Benefits. The application must also include documents confirming the actual place of residence of the applicant. If the documents are missing, the local government may draw up an act on the examination of the living conditions.
Contacting the Pension Fund is important, as benefits will not be provided without the submission of the appropriate application. It is essential not to delay the preparation of documents, as this may lead to the loss of the opportunity to receive benefits for the previous period.
