Fighters of the 'Fortress' brigade captured a Russian serviceman
In the Vovchansk direction, fighters of the DPSU 'Fortress' caught another Russian serviceman from the assault units. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU) on Wednesday, July 9.
The captured soldier has been fighting against Ukraine for two years. Previously, he took part in hostilities in the Zaporizhzhia direction, after which he was transferred to the infantry assault group 'Storm' - a unit that is partially composed of prisoners.
It is noted that the occupier's combat position was sent without cover, and his movements were monitored by an enemy drone that adjusted the route.
Other events at the border
Earlier, Ukrainian border guards of the 'Gart' brigade eliminated ten occupiers near Vovchansk. Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed a Russian flag at the border with Chernihiv region.
