Archery competitions at the 2024 Olympics continue, but for Ukrainian athletes, they are already over. Ukraine's representatives participated in the competitions aiming to get into the best possible tournament brackets.

Veronika Marchenko made stable shots and took 25th place. In the first round of the individual championship, she will face Chinese Taipei's Tsai-Chi Li, who took 40th place in the qualification. It is worth noting that in the last Olympic Games, Veronika also started competing against a Taipei representative - she then defeated the two-Time world champion Le Chien-yin with a score of 6:4.

Debutant Mykhailo Usach failed to shoot steadily in the ranking round. He had both good and bad series, which is why he took 48th place and will face Brazilian Marcus D'Almeida, who is first in the world ranking, in the first round.

Ukrainian archers failed to make it to the mixed team, as they took 21st place after both qualifying rounds. Only 16 teams advanced further, so their only chance for medals will be in the individual tournaments, which will begin in a few days.

Tomorrow, the official opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games will be held, which will be broadcast by official broadcasters - Public.
