PlayCity to create a register of players by December: who will be able to limit participation.
According to inkorr.com: The State Agency PlayCity has announced a tender to create a register of individuals with limited participation in gambling. The submission of proposals will last until October 26, 2025, and the total cost of the project will be up to 1.7 million hryvnias.
'Our goal is to create a modern, safe, and convenient system for those who want to protect themselves or their loved ones from gambling addiction,' the agency reported.
Personal account and integration
The new register will include a personal account for citizens, through which they will be able to apply for self-restriction. There are also plans for integration with the Diia platform, online systems of gambling providers, as well as an increased level of personal data protection.
'The register is an important step in ensuring responsible gambling and the development of a safe gambling market in Ukraine. Proposals for participation in the tender can be submitted on Prozorro,' emphasized PlayCity.
Expectations for the completion of the register
According to the plan, the register will be ready by December 15, 2025, to ensure more effective control over gambling participants.
The introduction of a register of individuals with limited participation in gambling aims to provide additional protection for those wishing to avoid gambling-related problems.
