October in Ukraine will be warmer than normal: when to expect the first cold snap.
According to inkorr.com: In October, air temperature in Ukraine is expected to rise soon, reaching +7-13 degrees. The most significant cooling is predicted for the end of the month. As for precipitation, 31-77 mm of rain is expected, with even more in mountainous areas - from 51 to 101 mm.
The turning point will come in the last days of October when the temperature will drop below +8 degrees. The first cold will arrive in the north, then in the south, and in some regions of Transcarpathia.
Temperature in the regions
The average temperature this month will fluctuate from +6 to +13 degrees, and in the Carpathians, it will be +4-5 degrees. The absolute minimum for October is expected to be from -5 to -16 degrees, while the maximum may reach from +26 to +34 degrees.
- In the northern, central, and eastern regions, as well as in the Carpathians, temperatures may range from -17 to -23 degrees, while in Crimea - from 0 to -3 degrees.
- It will be most comfortable in Zaporizhzhia, Crimea, and at the high peaks of the Carpathians.
The average amount of precipitation in October will be 29-54 mm.

The weather in October promises to be slightly warmer than usual, but with a cold snap in the second half of the month. A considerable amount of precipitation is also expected, especially in mountainous areas. During this period, an umbrella will come in handy.
Thus, October promises to be contrasting: warm days will change to cold, and rain will remind us of the approaching autumn. Be prepared for changes in weather conditions, especially in the second half of the month, when true cold will set in.
