Police arrested drunk referees of the game 'Dynamo' – 'Rangers', – Media.
Around two in the morning, Lublin police detained three people who were carrying a stolen road sign while intoxicated. According to Polish publication TVP Sport, two of them turned out to be referees - Bartosz Frankowski was supposed to be the VAR referee, and Tomasz Musiał - an assistant in the Champions League match between 'Dynamo' and 'Rangers'.
According to TVP Sport, Frankowski had almost 1.7 ppm of alcohol in his blood, and Musiał - around 1.8 ppm. Both referees were placed in a sobering-up center.
At the moment, it is unknown how UEFA will punish these two referees, but they have already been removed from the 'Dynamo' vs 'Rangers' match.
The main VAR referee was appointed Thomas Kwiatkowski, and his assistant - Paweł Malec.
We remind you that today 'Dynamo' will play against 'Rangers' in the first game of the third qualifying round of the Champions League. The match starts at 21:00 Kyiv time.
If 'Dynamo' defeats the Scottish team, then in the next round of the Champions League qualifiers, they will play against the winner of the 'Salzburg' - 'Twente' pair.
It is also worth noting that in annexed Crimea, the Russian European boxing champion had his eye knocked out during a street fight.
