Fees and Limits for Mobile Top-Ups at PrivatBank: What You Need to Know.
Ways to Top Up Your Mobile Account with PrivatBank
According to Novyny.live: PrivatBank offers its customers several convenient and fast options for adding funds to their mobile accounts. These methods are designed to suit different preferences and situations. Available top-up methods include:
- Privat24 app
- Self-service terminals
- ATMs
- SMS banking
- Shortcode 3700
- Telegram bot PrivatBankBot
The maximum amount you can load via PrivatBankBot is 3,000 UAH. A fixed fee of 4 UAH applies to each mobile top-up transaction. However, if you use a card from another bank at an ATM, ATM-Recycler, or self-service terminal, an additional 1% fee on the transaction amount will be charged. Notably, there is no extra fee when using credit funds to top up your mobile account.
Changes to International Transfer Terms
Starting June 1, 2023, PrivatBank ended preferential rates for international money transfers, which may influence how customers choose to fund their accounts. As a result, users can select the most convenient top-up method for their needs, taking into account the fees and limits mentioned above. This shift encourages clients to focus more on domestic financial operations, increasing competition in Ukraine's financial services market.
These updates from PrivatBank highlight the bank's commitment to making financial services more accessible by offering diverse mobile top-up options.
Given the revised international transfer conditions, customers may now prioritize local transactions, further intensifying competition among financial service providers in Ukraine.
