The drop in oil prices by $10 threatens the collapse of the Russian economy: forecast by an Israeli diplomat.

According to ТСН: In the event of a global decline in oil prices by $10-15, the Russian economy could find itself in serious trouble. This opinion was expressed by Israeli diplomat Arkadi Milman, who previously headed the Israeli embassy in Russia.

“All indicators of the Russian economy are declining. If the price of oil falls by 10 dollars, by 15 dollars, the Russian economy will collapse within two or three months, they simply have no money left,” he noted.

The diplomat emphasized that the situation depends on Trump, who could influence the increase in oil production in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He also urged to prohibit countries that buy Russian oil, particularly China and India, from continuing these deals, which would complicate Russia's ability to sell oil.

“That's it, it will all end there,” Milman emphasized.

Moreover, the diplomat believes that the Trump administration is mistaken in thinking that Putin is striving for peace.

“Trump has not yet taken these measures. Why — it is unclear. There is no clear understanding of why he believes that if he does not take these measures, Russia is striving for peace and will agree. Moreover, Trump keeps repeating that Putin wants to achieve peace. And this is a big mistake because Putin does not want to achieve any peace,” he concluded.

It has also become known that long-range drones of the Security Service of Ukraine have struck the third Russian oil drilling platform in the Caspian Sea. In addition, five tankers have been recorded in the Yellow Sea near the coasts of China, carrying 3.4 million barrels of Russian oil.

This situation indicates the growing economic isolation of Russia and increasing risks for its energy sector. The drop in oil prices, which could occur as a result of global competition and Ukraine's efforts to reduce Russian production, could significantly undermine Moscow's position on the international stage.
