Poundland returns £1 items: what will change for customers in the UK.
According to The Sun: The Poundland store chain is once again delighting its customers - now they will be able to purchase even more items for £1.
Under the new initiative, discount stores will offer products for £1, £2, and £3, which will be gradually introduced in all Poundland stores across the UK by September.
More than half of the food products will be sold for £1, another 20% for £2, and another 20% for £3. Additionally, health and beauty products, household chemicals, and candies will be offered under bargain pricing.
As for fashion clothing, it will not be included in this promotion, but according to reports from The Sun, a similar strategy may be implemented in that department by 2026.
Furthermore, Poundland is preparing for a series of changes following the sale. From September 16, the Poundland Perks loyalty program will be discontinued, and customers will be able to use their rewards until January 15, 2026. There are also plans to phase out frozen products and reduce the number of chilled goods in stores.
The new owners of the chain will also begin closing distribution centers and seek ways to expand the range, including more women's products and seasonal clothing collections. Poundland promises to become even more attractive to customers by offering a diverse selection of products at affordable prices.
