Who has the right to check documents at checkpoints: an explanation by a lawyer.
According to ТСН: Employees of the TCC do not have the right to check documents at checkpoints. However, the Military Law Enforcement Service (VSP) has such powers.
Lawyer Kateryna Anishchenko expressed the opinion on KYIV24 that starting from 2026, the number of individuals authorized to conduct document checks may increase at the legislative level. 'In addition to the National Police officers, this may include employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and other law enforcement agency subdivisions,' she explained. 'TCC employees do not have the right to check documents. But when it comes to the Military Law Enforcement Service, they do have that right.'
Regarding the digital mobilization in Ukraine, the lawyer noted that this information is currently unconfirmed. She believes that 'these are just loud headlines' — no legal act provides for this.
The new system 'Mobilized Check-in': what does it mean
It was previously reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is launching a new digital support system for military conscripts — 'Mobilized Check-in'. The project involves complete tracking of every step of the mobilization process, which will digitalize the journey from receiving the summons to arriving at service.
The implementation of the new 'Mobilized Check-in' system may significantly simplify and expedite the mobilization process, as digitalization will help reduce bureaucracy and make information more accessible to military conscripts. This is an important step towards enhancing the efficiency of the country's defense system, especially in the context of modern challenges and threats.
