Pensioners can work without losing payments: new PFC rules.
The right of pensioners to work and receive a pension
According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, pensioners have the opportunity to receive a pension and continue working without reducing their payments. Every two years, the pension is automatically recalculated, taking into account new levels of wages and insurance experience.
The Pension Fund urges citizens to inform about their employment to avoid financial misunderstandings. If overpayments occur, they can be returned voluntarily, or they will be deducted in parts from subsequent pension payments.
Pension for length of service and other rules
If a pensioner receives a pension for length of service but decides to work, their payments are temporarily suspended and resumed only after the completion of their employment activity.
Pensioners can hold public positions until the age of 70 with the consent of the relevant institution. They also have the opportunity to register with the employment service, but it is important to remember that unemployment assistance is not provided for them.
It is also important to follow the established procedures to avoid problems with their service record.
Pensioners in Ukraine can calmly combine their pension with work without reducing their payments. The main thing is to inform about their employment in a timely manner while adhering to the rules to avoid misunderstandings with finances.Read also
