According to The Sun: Julian Dix resigned as head coach of Heybridge Swifts due to financial controversies. The well-known football player, 57 years old, decided to leave after working at the club for 17 months.

This was his third attempt to manage the club in Essex, which plays in the eighth tier of English football. Dix noted:
"I decided to leave Heybridge on Saturday evening after being informed that the already reduced budget is being cut again.
"That, along with other issues and certain individuals at the club, led to this decision.
"I believe that the players and fans deserve more. I wish everyone the best for the season."
Club's reaction
In a statement from Heybridge club, it says:
"We can confirm that Julian Dix has resigned from his position as head coach."
"We would like to thank Julian for his time, commitment, and dedication during his tenure and wish him all the best for the future."
"Adrian Whitbread will temporarily serve as head coach while the club seeks a new solution."
Julian Dix's career
Dix began his playing career at Birmingham City and moved to West Ham in 1988, where he spent two spells. He played 326 games for the Hammers and scored 29 goals. After a brief time at Liverpool, he returned to West Ham for another five years. Most recently, he joined Heybridge last summer.
